C.E.R.T. Nuova Vita No-profit Organization (Evangelical Recovery Centre for Drug Addiction) was born to offer an adequate response to the issue of drug addiction. The latter is a widespread personal and social problem. Many adults and young adults find themselves facing it all alone and end up in isolation from the rest of society.
Our first objective is to provide a welcoming place where people affected by this problem could feel free to speak and ask for help. After that, we analyse and evaluate what would be the best therapy for the person. In addressing the issue, we do not deal only with the person that suffers from addition but we extend our help to the rest of the family as well.
Our focus is to help people reconnecting with themselves as well as helping them reconnecting with their relatives and friends. That is why we encourage family members to get involved in the process too.
We believe in God and that everyone is worth it. This is what leads us every day.
The therapy here at the centre has 4 main objectives:
- Identity Restoration
- Resocialisation
- Restoration of personal relationship
- Reintegration in the work place
These objectives are achieved through a network of people from both public and private sectors working together to offer those who are undergoing therapy a wide range of activities and opportunities.
The program is divided in steps each of which lasts as long as the person needs. The average length of the program is roughly between 18 to 24 months.
